Memory Chest Prototype

Memory Chest Prototype

Our oldest son will be graduating highschool this summer, so my wife and I wanted to make him a nice chest to hold all the things we’ve been collecting for him since he was a baby.  I thought I would make a prototype first, before making a bunch of mistakes with more expensive hardwood, and I sured “learned” quite a few lessons in the process.  I decided to use lock-rabbit joints  for simplicity with the tools I had.  Overall, I think this one came out a little rough around the edges but nice.  We are going to tweak the dimensions and the design a bit and then carefully create the real thing.

Cyber Stan the Internet Man

cyber stan

I was at a conference the other day and the presenter said that all techy briefings need a cloud in them.  I imagined the old Microsoft paperclip guy replaced by a cloud guy and scribbled a rough sketch in my notebook.  My neighbor was a fan, so i cleaned it up in the computer for him.

Interpreting a Diagram

diagram

I was attending a conference today and one of the presentations had a diagram like the one above to depict a bunch of relationships.  Sure there were words I left out of this quick rendition, and some arrows depicting communication and authority flows; but all I saw was a ripped turtle pressing something overhead.  So…

Mr Freeze

    Mr Freeze

This is a doodle I did during some training (still listening).  This was mostly inspired by the show of Batman: The Animated Series posters coming up this weekend at Mondo.  Victor Freeze was always my favorite, and his poster looks sweet!
