Colored Inktober – Solo Mudtrooper

This is the last Inktober doodle from this year I wanted to color, my mudtrooper from the movie Solo.

Colored in Krita on my Surface Pro 3.

This doodle was colored in Krita on my Surface Pro 3.  The color distracts a little from all the things I don’t like about it.

I thought this little guy looked like he needed some color, so I tried to do a quick wash on the computer.  We also made a trip recently to our local second hand LEGO store, and I picked out the pieces to make two-toned, squatter, slightly kookier version of the inspiration for this doodle.

When I was getting this doodle ready for posting the other day, I liked how it looked in b&w so I saved that off, and decided to give it some rough colors.

This is just adding on to my last post, using a layer mask on a flat color layer to add a speckled texture.
