Captain Ameri-saurus

Captain Ameri-saurus

Hopefully this will be my last off topic dinosaur and I’ll get back to cute ones, but I also want to do some Star Wars ones too now…  Too easily distracted.  Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas this year and a happy holidays!

Try-rnman

Try-rnman

Not sure why my attempts at cute dinosaurs so quickly wandered off to comic book characters, but i scribbled this doodle out with another one on the same plane ride as the baseball player.  I’ll probably post his companion in a few days.

Try-Ranosaurus

Try-Ranosaurus Baseball

I recently had an idea to try developing a single character for possible illustration projects.  I decided upon a cute little T-rex that can “try” out lots of different things.  First activity up is baseball.  These were originally sketched out on paper while I was on a flight.  We’ll see what else will come of this little guy.

Bird King Colored

Bird King colored

Next up on the list of Inktober doodles in the Bird King from Cristian Ortiz.  Some of the linework was goobered up when I isolated them for the big wallpaper piece (source for all these colored doodles), but I just rolled with it.

Thanksgiving

vegan lasagna

Happy Thanksgiving!  I used to always draw some kind of turkey this time of year but seemed to have neglected them these last few years.  Well, I’m bringing it back so Bobby Gobbler wanted to offer you a meat free alternative.  (We will be eating turkey and ham at our house)

Netflix’s Klaus

Jesper

If you haven’t seen it yet, I cannot recommend enough times that you should check out the Netflix original movie, Klaus.  It is sure to become a holiday season classic and it wonderfully and beautifully made.  I have been waiting for this movie since I first saw an early production teaser a year ago, and was not disappointed in the final movie.

Meow-tron Colored

Meow-tron

I’ve been excited about adding some color to this Inktober doodle, as I had to do lots of cross hatching on the black and white version.  This was based of an adorable tshirt design be Matthew Armstrong.

Carrot – Colored

Carrot Colored

I really liked how this doodle of David Revoy’s character Carrot came out, so it’s the next up for the color treatment.

Surfing Stitch – Colored

Stitch

The next Inktober drawing I really wanted to color was this Stitch.  Maybe I’ll expand this drawing with more characters some day.

Ruinworld Rex -Colored

Ruinworld Rex

I thought since I had already turned most of this year’s Inktober doodles into vector linework, they are pretty much prepped to digitally color some of them.  The first one up is Rex from Derek Laufmann’s Ruinworld comic.
