Our youngest son is taking up the saxophone this year and asked me to draw a saxophone playing cat for his music binder.

Coloring Nazgul Video
I haven’t done a video capture for awhile, so I thought I’d do one this weekend. I originally tried capturing the sketch and inking phase, but my settings were all screwed up. Another day I suppose…

Pallet Shelf
This is certainly not my idea, but I had the better part of a pallet I was going to throw out, so I made a shelf instead.
Nazgul
This was a topic on sketch_dailies this week, and I starting doodling this during a meeting but didn’t like where it was going and stopped. I had a compulsion this evening to try again and ended up with this. Could have probably used a lot more work on the quick sketch phase, but it wasn’t meant to be perfect.
This is what my mind wandered to during the meeting. I must have been hungry.
Eddy the Hot Mess Space Mechanic
This past week our family was able to visit one of the NASA space centers and go through the museum and tours. So at church, I thought I’d doodle a space mechanic who could use some help keeping track of his tools.
Simple Skull
A recent project I worked on that’s destined for some cnc milling centered on a skull I drew up for them. The design was done in Inkscape using the bezier tool and some shaped lines I had pre-created.
Mouse Guard Colored
When I was getting this doodle ready for posting the other day, I liked how it looked in b&w so I saved that off, and decided to give it some rough colors.
Colors in MyPaint, composite in GIMP.
