Episode VII: Bucket of Bolts

This was my bulletin doodle for today, the Pastor brought up Star Wars in the first few minutes of his sermon so he’s really partially to blame.  I took the boys to go see the movie last Wednesday and we were all very happy! I especially like how they re-introduced the Millenium Falcon.

This was another doodle I did sometime last week, that I forgot to post.  They “pew pew” is translated from the wookie’s native tongue which would probably be like “uuuuggghhhhhhhhrarrrrrrrgghhhhhhhhaah.”

Snowman House

This was last Sunday’s bulletin doodle at church, a festive house in a friendly shape.

I also made a new silkscreen for shirts and stuff.

A Gift to the World

A Gift to the World

A Gift to the World

This week’s bulletin doodle.  Last night our church had our Children’s Christmas Cantata, which was absolutely adorable.  It was a simple reminder of God’s free gift to all of us.

For an added bonus, below is the cantata backdrop I made for the auditorium and our digital signage, last week’s bulletin doodle of Vader throwing down the imperial march, and a picture of our wooden Christmas tree after we got all the ornaments and lights on.

Who is Kylo Ren

Who is Kylo Ren?

Who is Kylo Ren?

This weeks church doodle.  I’m pretty excited about the new Star Wars movie coming out, but if that Kylo Ren guy turns out to be Jar Jar or even Luke, I just won’t know what’s real in the world anymore.

Monitor Array Installed

Monitor Array Installed

I finally remembered to take a picture of the installed Monitor Array I built for our new church auditorium.  The large monitor is for the majority of the projection controls and the real work.  The bottom two monitors are to preview of what’s projected to the congregation and what’s displayed for the worship performers.  The top monitor is used to queue up and control the CD/DVD or to preview what the camera is recording.

I finally got the last of the components I needed for this last Sunday’s service and everything is running perfectly!  Now I just have to clean up the mess of cables in the back that I vowed I would never make.
