Here’s all this year’s Inktober doodles in a single post.
Monthly Archives: October 2015
Last Day of Inktober!!! I wanted to do something with a large vial or tank of ink, and that idea ended up as this. A tank with a tank I suppose. Time for a break from doodling!
Inktober Day 30. This little guy popped in my head tonight, and I was going to give him a couple ant friends, but I didn’t have enough time.
Inktober Day 29. Tonight we had praise team practice at church, so I decided to doodle up this guy. Two days left to go!
Inktober Day 28. Little known fact about the mighty three-horns, they hate butterflies. Abhor them… Three days left.
Inktober Day 27. I really have no explanation for this doodle. Four days left! Meow.
Inktober Day 26. I’ve been doing some binge watching of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” the past few days, so I thought I’d doodle up their classic logo.
Inktober Day 25. My boys have borderline obsessively been replaying the newest teen titans episode, in which Cyborg is smitten with this fake 80’s song. Song is obnoxious, but when he’s pulled into the music, he looks pretty cool.
I just realized I won’t have enough of my little 6″x6″ sheets of bristol to finish out the month, so I’ll need to cut down some bigger ones. This doodle was done on one of those 9×12 sheets, which was lots more fun with a brush pen!
This is a quick sketch I did on the computer to figure out all the details. I had to take 8 or 9 captures from the video to reference his parts.
Last night I stayed up way too late making some shirts for our worship service crew at church. I got the Speedball starter kit at Michael’s with a 50% off coupon and was using the photo emulsion method. The first time I exposed the screen, even though I followed the instructions, some of the design wouldn’t wash out so I had to completely clean it off and start all over. The shirts came out nice though, and now I can make as many as I want.
You can click on the pictures for more process details.
Inktober Day 24. Tonight the boys and I went to see Hotel Transylvania 2, which got me to thinking of the benefits of a removable head. I put some quick color on this in the computer.
