While throwing out some papers at work today I found a few doodles that I thought I’d post. The first is a violent little dog I drew in a meeting, where I had no actual pictures to figure out what a pug’s face should look like. The other doodle was actually my first attempt to sketch out a gargoyle request, before I had many of the specifics of said request.

Minecraft Enderdragon Costume
My youngest came home from school last week and said I needed to make him an Enderdragon costume for some school show. I talked him down to an Enderdragon head with a black t-shirt, and challenge accepted! I decided to build it all around an old bike helmet so he would have control of movement, instead of just a box sitting on his shoulders. My cardboard creation is documented below.
New Bumblebee
Cartoon Network debuted the new Transformers: Robots in Disguise series this morning (though at a time when only people over 80 would be awake.) I have mixed feelings, visually it has potential, but the story they laid down in the pilot was a little messy. Probably needs a full hour episode arc to get it all started. Bumblebee is the boss this time though!
Rattlesnakes Flag
I haven’t had much time lately to post, what with our whole family getting sick over the last week and lots to do at work. I thought I’d post a picture of our son’s scouting patrol flag. It’s based on their little embroidered patches which i redrew and cleaned up. One of the other scout’s mother Mitzi did an amazing job of embroidering the whole thing for us.
Nocturna Cat Shepperd
I found this gorgeous movie “Nocturna” from 2007 on Amazon Prime Video this weekend and really liked it. I also watched “Ernest & Celestine” which was equally as good. Thought I’d doodle the cat shepperd.
