This weekend I help someone with some decal stripes for his Subaru. Unfortunately, the material he had kept slipping in my cutter so I made some paper masks and cut them out by hand.

This is another little art card I sent out to a friend. My picture was horribly fuzzy but that’s all I got, unless they send me a better one.
Yesterday, Netflix released season 2 of Voltron, so I thought I’d doodle a lion real quick and get back to my binge watching.
I feel like I often have difficulty explaining to people that it’s not always a simple thing to walk out into the garage and start working on a project. Most of my tools are stashed away so we can use the garage to park our cars whenever possible. I thought as I was packing it all away tonight, I would capture the Tetris/Jenga in pictures. The rule of thumb seems to be the only tool I need is the one with the most stuff on top of it.
For this Sunday’s bulletin sketch, I depicted our little cat as Han Solo. I’ll need to do another with our decidedly grumpier old girl as the Emperor.
I added some color in the computer.
My wife bought a table a few weeks back that was really cute, but the top had been replaced with some veneered fiber board. This seemed like a good time for me to start my pipe-clamp army and I made her a new one (above).
I also threw together this base for my pipe clamps. I bought three 10′ iron pipes and cut them into pairs that are 2′, 3′, 4′, and 6′. I bought four sets of the IRWIN 1/2″ fittings.
