Just because you’re a water tower welded together outside, as long as you never stop believing, you can fly! SpaceX proved that earlier this week with their Starhopper prototype, continuing their amazing progress revolutionizing space travel.
Doodle in Krita (and a little Inkscape) on my Surface Pro 3.
Inktober Day 27. I really have no explanation for this doodle. Four days left! Meow.
Inktober Day 17. Tonight I took my oldest son to see “The Martian.” Great movie. Go see it now.
This was my week’s church doodle, some kind of space dinosaur/snake/creature thingy…
Eddy the Hot Mess Space Mechanic
This past week our family was able to visit one of the NASA space centers and go through the museum and tours. So at church, I thought I’d doodle a space mechanic who could use some help keeping track of his tools.
One last thing I got to this weekend was to finish coloring my little space girl.

This is a doodle I started working on last Sunday at church, and kept scribbling at throughout the week. I inked it in my sketchpad and did some marker shading, but I wasn’t that happy with how it came out, so I’ll be inking this digitally too.

I finally got my space farmer finished, I decided just to shade and not color. I was also trying out a few of the custom Cabot stain colors I bought from Lowes.

My dad let me steal his ’68 Hamilton drafting table when we were home for vacation. I finally got it all set up, put a fresh Alvin Vyco cover on it, and built a leaning shelf to go behind to hold up me tv/monitor and art supplies. Just waiting on the awesome tractor seat stool I ordered to put the icing on the cake. In the picture I have my Ubuntu PC with my Intuos4 tablet and intend to do much future doodling from that spot! I’ve been very jealous in the past of people with creative spaces, and now I have one of my own!
