I finally glued the rest of the segments together to finish up the tunnel. It’s about 2 feet long now, so the cats can fully hide inside of it. It’s actually a pretty solid form once the glue is all set.

For this Sunday’s bulletin sketch, I depicted our little cat as Han Solo. I’ll need to do another with our decidedly grumpier old girl as the Emperor.
I added some color in the computer.
This weekend we added a scrawny, big earred, long neck, lanky little monster to our family named Scout. Hopefully our sophisticated madam of the house will take to him.

I’ve been hoarding some cardboard in the garage for some time now, so I thought I’d run a couple of wardrobe boxes through the band saw and build a new scratching tower for our little lady. I got halfway through assembly before running out of glue and needing to resupply.
Our youngest son is taking up the saxophone this year and asked me to draw a saxophone playing cat for his music binder.

I found this gorgeous movie “Nocturna” from 2007 on Amazon Prime Video this weekend and really liked it. I also watched “Ernest & Celestine” which was equally as good. Thought I’d doodle the cat shepperd.
