The other day I saw an insurance shirt that said something like “I farm so you can eat.” I decided to rephrase it to something like this.

This was last Sunday’s bulletin doodle at church, a festive house in a friendly shape.
I also made a new silkscreen for shirts and stuff.
After some sanding and painting, the wood scrap outline piece is all done. I’ve got another one, but it’s a present so I can’t share that one yet.
A few months ago I ran into the amazing work of Dolan Geimer on etsy or somewhere, and wanted to create something smaller but in that vein for my wife. With the help of my good friend Kevin, I’ve been amassing a collection of wooden scraps to make this possible. I just need to sand off some wood putty and finish painting the outside.
This was way easier now that I have a miter saw. I’m going to have to start keeping track of how many I’ve got out in the garage (9). I’m not counting my rotary tool and my router.

Like, in the agricultural sense… duh. Just a little funny design that popped in my head during our annual pilgrimage to the homeland. Stay classy, farmers.
I was doing a different band-wagon-on-hopping-keep-calm graphic for something else and this popped in my head. Had to make it.
As we get closer to the holidays and road trips to see family, I finally got around to doodling out this “i heart iowa” idea that’s been stuck up in the noodle for awhile. Maybe it’ll make it’s way to a tshirt or two.

When I was cleaning up after my paper doodle, I had this little Iowa I had cut out of a layer leftover. I ended up keeping it and the urge to xacto struck me again two days later so I was left with this.
