After a weekend at a quinceanera and all the dancing shows on TV, I thought up the image of Yoda about to get his Fred Astaire on. Maybe he had a stash of vinyl in that dumpy little hut of his.

I don’t think this picture is wrong, it would be if it was calamari. More work from my retelling of a Star Wars story.

I’m working on a four-part comic strip as a training aid that will retell a classic Star Wars story in a new way. This was my idea for the character styling for the protagonist. His name is Mitchell.

For this Sunday’s bulletin sketch, I depicted our little cat as Han Solo. I’ll need to do another with our decidedly grumpier old girl as the Emperor.
I added some color in the computer.
This was by far the funniest line K2S0 had in the movie.
Today I got the new LEGO set for the droid K2SO from the upcoming Star Wars: Rebel One movie. I’ve added him to my collection of toys poised to assault me around my art desk.
This was my bulletin doodle for today, the Pastor brought up Star Wars in the first few minutes of his sermon so he’s really partially to blame. I took the boys to go see the movie last Wednesday and we were all very happy! I especially like how they re-introduced the Millenium Falcon.
This was another doodle I did sometime last week, that I forgot to post. They “pew pew” is translated from the wookie’s native tongue which would probably be like “uuuuggghhhhhhhhrarrrrrrrgghhhhhhhhaah.”
