For today, I tried to emulate some of the digital art of Renaud Roche by drawing with ink in negative space… and failed pretty miserably. So go check out his amazing work, and forget you ever saw this doodle.

This is the last Inktober doodle from this year I wanted to color, my mudtrooper from the movie Solo.
Colored in Krita on my Surface Pro 3.
Inktober day 31
The final inktober doodle of 2018 is Rio Durant from “Solo”. This guy was an amazing pilot and good for some funny banter. I wished this one had turned out better, but I was a little rushed to get it done.
Inktober day 30
One of the strongest characters, who met an unfortunate end during the movie was L3 37, the extremely self-aware lady friend of Lando. She looks like she’s enjoying this oil bath after a long day of putting up with his drama.
Inktober day 29
My oldest son loved the mudtrooper uniform from “Solo”, so I made sure it include it in my inktober.
Inktober day 28
Next crazy character from “Solo” is Quay Tolsite, the boss of the mine on Kessel. His drippage bothered me physically.
Another LEGO build I finished up before the new year was thanks to the building instruction of Miro Dudas. I simplified the main body, changed out the parts for the side cannons, and I am still trying to figure out the best piece for the front of the head/cockpit. So far, Mixel eyes are my favorite…

These are a few of the ships I had to cartoon up for that Star Wars retelling I have been working on. Thought I would at least post something this weekend.
After a weekend at a quinceanera and all the dancing shows on TV, I thought up the image of Yoda about to get his Fred Astaire on. Maybe he had a stash of vinyl in that dumpy little hut of his.
