More farting around learning to use Krita. Many of the things I would previously have had to bounce between MyPaint and GIMP can all be done in it. Just what I need is a whole new workflow process.
Tomorrow starts Inktober! I think I’m going to give it a shot and see how many days I can find time to draw something.
I had to sit at a Dentist office for a bit today with one of the boys, so I thought I’d doodle and this is what came out. I had started scribbling out this idea earlier in Krita (trying to learn that program), so I thought i’d at least draw the face and play around with one of the copic marker brushes. When I first laid down the lines the right ear was way to big, which would have been a redraw in mypaint, but I tested out the transformation tool in krita and fixed it!
This weeks bulletin doodle is an angst filled Han Solo as a teenager. Why can’t he find that stupid song he’s looking for?
I’ve been thinking about getting some shirts made for our little team that makes the Sunday services happen at church. After many versions and little changes, this is what I finally decided on.

This was a little doodle I’ve been scribbling on throughout the week and I finally had a chance to post it. Will probably do some more of these characters until the movie comes out in December.
I had something like this bouncing around in my head all day, so I had to doodle it.
I almost forgot my bulletin doodle for the week.
ed roth roadster
Someone asked me to draw an Ed Roth Roadster with a turbo, so this is what I came up with. I tried to stay very close to his classic style and car type.
I started with a loose sketch, then made a some shape guides in inkscape before inking.

I haven’t done a vector helmet in a while and I thought Starlord’s mug was worth doodling. Created in Inkscape with final texturing in the Gimp.
